Wellness · Albuquerque, NM
$100 Booking Fee · 30 Minutes
This appointment is designed specifically for patients who have not previously been seen at our practice for hormone therapy. It gives us time to review your full health history and build your personalized plan from the ground up.
About This Appointment
The New Patient Hormone Consultation is a complete, caring medical appointment where a qualified provider thoroughly reviews your hormone levels and overall health for the first time. Because this is your first visit, we take extra care to understand your full history not just your symptoms today, but what has changed over time and what you've already tried.
Based on everything gathered, your provider creates a personalized plan designed just for you one that may include hormone support, nutrition guidance, lifestyle changes, or other therapies to help restore hormone balance, boost energy, improve mood, and support your long-term wellness.
Before You Arrive
To make the most of your 30-minute consultation, come prepared with the following. The more context you can share, the more targeted your plan will be.
Please bring or have ready:
✦ A list of your current medications, supplements, and vitamins
✦ Any recent lab work or hormone panels from the past 12 months, if available
✦ A brief summary of your symptoms when they started, how they've changed, and how they affect your daily life
✦ Your primary care provider's name, in case records need to be requested
✦ A list of questions you want answered during the visit
What It Helps With
Hormonal imbalances rarely announce themselves clearly. They tend to accumulate gradually as changes in energy, mood, sleep, or body composition that are easy to dismiss but hard to ignore over time. This consultation is for patients ready to find out what is actually going on.
✦ Low energy or constant tiredness that doesn't improve with rest
✦ Changes in mood, irritability, or feeling persistently down
✦ Difficulty sleeping or waking feeling unrefreshed
✦ Unexplained weight changes or difficulty managing weight
✦ Reduced strength, muscle tone, or exercise performance
✦ Hot flashes, night sweats, or other hormone-related symptoms
✦ Brain fog, poor concentration, or memory lapses
✦ A general sense of not feeling like yourself anymore
The Consultation Procedure
Your provider takes time to understand the full picture before making any recommendations. Because this is a new patient appointment, the conversation goes deeper than a follow-up visit nothing is assumed, and everything is explained.
01
You sit comfortably while the provider asks thoughtful questions about how you have been feeling, what has changed, and what you want to improve. This is a listening appointment before anything is recommended.
02
Your provider reviews your medical history, current symptoms, and any previous lab results you've brought. As a new patient, this review is comprehensive covering your full health picture, not just the presenting symptoms.
03
Your provider explains what lab tests may be ordered to accurately measure your hormone levels. These typically include panels for estrogen, progesterone, testosterone, thyroid, cortisol, and metabolic markers depending on your symptoms.
04
Based on your history and initial assessment, your provider creates a clear starting plan. Each recommendation is explained in plain language you understand exactly what is being recommended and why before anything is decided.
What to Expect
You will feel listened to and supported throughout. There are no procedures or discomfort. This is a conversation focused entirely on understanding you before making any recommendation.
You leave with a clear understanding of your current hormone picture and a written summary of your next steps. Nothing is left vague or unexplained.
If lab work was ordered, results typically return within a few days. You can begin following any immediate lifestyle or nutrition recommendations right away while awaiting labs.
Hormone therapy and wellness interventions work gradually. Most patients notice meaningful improvements in energy, mood, sleep, and body composition within 4 to 12 weeks, with results continuing to improve over time.
Regular follow-up visits monitor your labs, assess how your body is responding, and allow us to adjust your plan as your body and goals evolve. This is an ongoing relationship, not a one-time interaction.
Benefits
A new patient appointment means we start with your complete health picture no assumptions carried over from other providers.
Your plan is built around your specific labs, symptoms, and lifestyle not a standard protocol applied to every patient who walks in.
We look for the underlying hormonal reasons you feel the way you do, rather than managing symptoms without addressing what is causing them.
Balanced hormones support energy, mental clarity, physical performance, and mood in ways that no supplement or lifestyle change alone can fully replicate.
Every recommendation is grounded in clinical evidence and followed up with lab monitoring to ensure safety and effectiveness as your plan evolves.
This is the beginning of an ongoing care relationship not a one-time consultation. Your provider will know your history and track your progress over time.
Candidacy
This appointment is specifically for adults who have not previously been seen at Chrome Aesthetics for hormone therapy. It works well for patients at any stage whether symptoms just started appearing or have been building for years, and whether you have a clear sense of what is wrong or simply know something feels off.
If you've been told your labs are "normal" by another provider but still don't feel right, this consultation is a good next step. Our providers are trained to look at hormone optimization and overall wellness together not just whether numbers fall within a reference range.
If you've been seen here before for hormone therapy, please book the returning patient HRT consultation instead. This ensures your appointment time is used efficiently and your existing history is referenced from the start.
